Covid 19 Vaccine Update
The Government has just reached an agreement with General Practitioners for the roll out of the Covid 19 vaccine.
With the likely approval of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine by the EMA in the coming weeks, these arrangements will allow for GP’s to vaccinate patients in our surgeries.
Although not formally announced it is likely we will have to adhere to agreed protocols in terms of how patient groups are prioritised for receipt of this vaccine.
In the first instance the population to be invited to receive the vaccine in GP surgeries will likely be those over 70.
Once further information becomes available, we will endeavour to update you and advise on the procedure regarding receiving this vaccine at Roxboro Medical Centre.
