The Covid-19 situation is changing on a daily basis. The recommendation still stands that social distancing for all of us is the best way to prevent the spread of Coronavirus
No one knows how long this will be the case.
Roxboro Medical Centre’s response to Covid-19
Here at Roxboro Medical Centre, we are busy working for our patients. We have introduced social distancing measures for both our patients and staff. We are still doing face-to-face consultations but to ensure the safety of our staff and patients, you may be asked some triage questions prior to your attendance. We ask all patients that attend the surgery to wear a facemask and your doctor or nurse will also be wearing one. On attendance you will be asked to use some hand sanitizer and to not touch your facemask once on. All our equipment and surfaces are cleaned after each consultation.
Symptoms of Covid-19 include, fever, cough and shortness of breath. It also includes loss of smell and alteration of taste. We would ask any patients that think they have symptoms of Covid 19 not to attend the surgery and instead to remain at home and to call the practice.
